Who Should Apply

In order to be eligible to apply to the BVTeach, applicants must be a high school student attending either Bryan ISD, Caldwell ISD, Brenham ISD, or Hearne ISD. Applicants must also plan to enroll in CTE Public Service Endorsement and dual credit courses in their high school. To get started, talk to your parents/guardians and school counselor today.

There are 3 benefits for students to become a BVTeach student.

Workforce credentials. We are looking for Brazos Valley high school students interested in completing a Public Service, Endorsement or an Educational Aide 1 Certificate.
Dual Credit. The BVTeach Program will also help you identify dual credit opportunities by taking teaching and training classes at your high school. Dual credit classes that count toward a two-year degree in child development or education.
College Access. Once BVTeach students graduate high school, they go on to earn a two-year associate’s degree from Blinn College and then complete their degree at a four-year institution.
